2013 Platinum Awards – Exceeds all Expectations

The Platinum Awards are a Celebration of Business and Community Excellence in New Westminster that recognizes businesses and individuals whose achievements and contributions to the community distinguish them from their peers. Our Second annual event exceeded all expectations.

Since May of 2013 until September 26, 2013 the New Westminster Chamber was receiving nominations from the community. At the time of the nominations deadline we had received over 70 nominations and the adjudication work was to begin.

Every nomination was treated equitably and fairly over the two day judging process. Each nomination was read aloud and the panel of 5 judges independently scored the nominations based on the criteria.

Thank you to the 2013 Platinum Awards Judging Committee and the Planning Committee for an outstanding job.

Congratulations to all of this year’s winners.
